Call for Volunteers

The Historic Rossetter House Museum and Gardens is in need of volunteers who love history and have an appreciation for the preservation of our local past.

What things do volunteers do? We have a wide variety of things to do: Docents/Tour guides, gardeners, gift shop helpers, silver polishers, general organizers, light maintenance, Wedding and Museum Event helpers (Teas, Ghost Tour, Murder Mystery Tour, Egg Hunt, Fall Festival and Christmas, etc.) Marketing and delivering brochures is also needed.

How much time do I need to spend? If you have a hour or a day, we have flexible hours. Please commit to volunteer at least once a week. The Museum is open daily: Mon-Sat 10a-4p, Sun 1-4p.

I'm in High School. Can I volunteer? Yes. We have students from 6th grade through College. Many of our student volunteers choose to volunteer during their summer and spring breaks. The Museum is open on weekends too.

How old do I have to be to volunteer? Our youngest volunteer is age 12 and our oldest is 80+. Our volunteers are responsible and considerate individuals who enjoy being a part of History.

A ten percent discount on Gift Shop merchandise and other perks are included with your once a week commitment.

If you are interested in volunteering, you may fill out this form or call for details.
